The Stone and Stable Foundation is dedicated to rescuing a variety of animals, including horses, cats, dogs, and other farm animals. Grace's journey of healing
Grace, a horse rescued from a killpen, arrived with severe scars and old injuries, believed to be from a gunshot and being caught in ropes/wire. Initially, she displayed no interest in her surroundings, showing no interaction with other horses or humans. Her fear was evident when she reacted violently during a vet examination. With unwavering love and patience, Grace began to heal. Today, she is a star, participating in therapy sessions and even teaching beginning riding lessons. Her transformation is a testament to the power of kindness and dedicated care.
The thriving Nigerian goats
We welcomed two young Nigerian goats into our family after they were rehomed from a sheep farm where they had sustained hip injuries from sheep butting. Upon their arrival, they began bringing everyone joy. They are now thriving. These playful goats are a joy to everyone who visits, and they especially love the treats left for them in a treat box outside their enclosure. Their happiness brightens our days and reminds us of the importance of a safe and loving environment.
